How many times can I apply MyCoNet® in a crop cycle?

MyCoNet® can be applied to the casing layer before mushroom pins develop and again after each subsequent flush every 7-10 days if needed.

How do I apply MyCoNet®?

Recommended for hydraulic or air blast sprayers including backpack, hand held sprayers, electric misters, and electric pumps.

What is the mode of action for MyCoNet®?

Pyrethrins induce a toxic effect in insects when they penetrate the cuticle and reach the nervous system. Pyrethrins bind to sodium channels that occur along the length of nerve cells. Sodium channels are responsible for nerve signal transmission along the length of the nerve cell by permitting the flux of sodium ions. When pyrethrins bind to sodium channels, normal function of the channels is obstructed thereby resulting in hyperexcitation of the nerve cell and, consequently, a loss of function of the nerve cell. The shutdown of the insect nervous system and death are most often the consequences of insect exposure to MyCoNet®.

The inerts in MyCoNet® (3D-IPNS inerts) are specially designed to improve the effectiveness of Py. They do this by:

  • Use of 3D-IPNS technology
  • 3D-IPNS application technology improves the contact between the insect and insecticide
  • 3D-IPNS application technology helps keep insect in treated zone
  • Delivers the insecticide to the pest
  • Enhances the exposure profile of the treated species
