Application Rates

It is important to read the label of the pesticide before purchasing, before using and before disposing the container of the MyCoNet® insecticide.

Casing Soil Application:

Apply to the casing soil at a rate of 13 ¼ fl. oz. per 8000 square feet with a suitable amount of water to evenly spread across room (typically 13 ¼ fl. oz. mixed in to 25 to 50 gallons of water). Application can be made directly to a casing soil using a water pump and watering nozzle. May be applied up to 2 times during case hold, with a 4 day interval between applications. Maintain water PH 5 to 6.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) SOP’s

Applicators and other handlers who may be exposed to the dilute and/ or concentrate through application or other tasks should wear:

  • Long-sleeved shirt and long pants;
  • Chemical-resistant gloves such as Barrier Laminate, Nitrile Rubber 14 mils, Neoprene Rubber 14 mils and Viton 14 mils;
  • Shoes plus socks
  • Protective eyewear (goggles, face shield or safety goggles).

Staining

Staining of the mushroom may occur if applied after the mushroom pin head is larger than 1/8″. Note that the MyCoNet® may be used on floors, ceilings, and walls while mushrooms are present on the beds as long as no dripping comes in contact with mushrooms.

It is important to limit your bed application to times when there are no fruiting bodies larger than 1/8″ on the beds. Using an electric mister while mushrooms are on the beds may cause staining, therefore it is not recommended.
